We’re Sakshi and Anshika, sisters who always dreamed of building something together. For as long as we can remember, we’ve loved jewelry. Not just for how it looks, but for how it makes you feel — confident, put-together, a little more you.

Starting a jewelry brand was always on our minds. But life took us in different directions. Sakshi went into business. I followed the path of words and literature. Still, we kept coming back to the same frustration — spending on jewelry that didn’t last. Fast fashion pieces lost their shine too soon, and fine jewelry was out of reach for everyday wear. That’s when The House of Kriya started taking shape — from late-night discussions, shared Pinterest boards, and a deep desire to create pieces that meant something.

We grew up in a desi household where we learned that real change starts with action. The name "Kriya" is special to us. It’s a heartfelt blend of two family names and the Sanskrit word for "goddess" and "action." To us, it’s more than a name—it’s a promise to celebrate who you are and the life you’re shaping, one meaningful step at a time.
